Hand-Stitched Wool Felt Applique by Winnie Aneganak Ohokak
A companion piece to the hunting scene by Winnie Aneganak Ohokak (1930–2000), an artist featured in major permanent collections including the National Gallery of Canada and the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG-Qaumajuq). This felt wall hanging depicts an Inuit drum dancer wielding a traditional frame drum (qilaut). Created with hand-cut wool felt layers and detailed stitchwork, it retains its original braided border, hanging cords, and signature.
