Newar Brass Deepam Seven-Wick Oil Lamp with Donor Figures; Kathmandu Valley, Nepal; 19th century; 7.5"H
Paired donor figures — male and female, both in anjali mudra — kneel beneath a pierced foliate aureole with multi-plane relief supporting seven wick cups. Small deity finial crowns the central axis. Lotus petal base carries a continuous Prachalit-script dedication inscription. Lost-wax cast brass; warm dark patina consistent with ritual use. Functional devotional object with genuine temple provenance.
