Badger Brass Co. • 1899(ish) • Acetylene Bicycle Lamp

$158.00

Ever wonder how you rode around on your bike or motorcycle in 1899? It turns out you used an acetylene lamp. Carbide mixed with water produced acetylene gas. Light the gas behind the lens and you are good to go. The intensity of the flame could be adjusted via the key valve at the base. It was attached to either the fork or the front of the buggy (in the case of a motorcycle).
